    products, it is impossible to count them all. Many of the products one can find on their Web site and order are drop-shipped from other companies but Amazon.com is still  making that sale. Kirgan (2008) reports that 60 percent of Amazons income still comes from books, music CDs, videos and DVDs. Amazon.com has been a model for other Internet companies  where market share was more of a priority than profits (Kirgan, 2008). Amazon.coms home page is busy, which means that there is a lot of type and illustrations on it.  The specific busyness, however, is not a weakness, it is a strength because the user immediately sees a variety of products. On the day this essay was written, the Web  site is emphasizing a product with a quote from Oprah Winfrey declaring it changed her life. We all know how much influence Oprah has in this country, which makes this  a definite strength and that also accommodates placement in the 4Ps analysis. Another strength is that although this home page is very long, it is easy to click through.  And, each item, such as watches, jewelry, various fragrances, HP computers, shoes, and various other items is a hyperlink to that product. The left side where lists are presented, there  is even one for groceries. So, when someone exclaims that Amazon.com has become an everything store, they are very close to be accurate. Just to test this premise, this writer  searched Amazon for a rather rare cable that connects a Motorola camera cell phone to a Mac computer and they had it. The cost was under $1.00 and would have  been drop-shipped from another company. The writer also checked to see what they carried in the Nintendo Wii model line and they have dozens of items.
