Television sports new ads every  week it seems touting a new weight-loss pill that allows us to lose weight while we sleep or without doing anything differently other than taking a few pills every day.  Needless to say these are not what they purported to be. The most successful and realistic weight loss plans are those that use a sensible balance of eating healthy  foods and exercising in moderation. The weight loss is not overnight, but truly successful weight loss never is. One of the most successful of the weight loss plans  is that of the Jenny Craig diet program. This is a program that uses medically approved methods of healthy weight loss. UNHEALTHY EATING HABITS Modern diets of  teenagers from age fifteen to eighteen reflect the significant pressures that are placed upon impressionable adolescents. Whether the influence is that of popular culture, athletics or religious affiliations, teenagers  are faced with difficult choices when it comes to food. In order to maintain a sense of acceptance, teens often forego the necessary elements of a proper and healthful  diet in exchange for one full of simple sugars, worthless carbohydrates and empty calories. When protein is allowed into the diet, it is typically in the form of a  fast food hamburger or other kind of inadequate source. Educating teenagers about the importance of proper nutrition is a difficult task, in that this particular age group has a  tendency to follow the leader when it comes to dietary choices; indeed, this is not necessarily the time in ones life when smart nutritional choices are made.
