As the workplace  continues to change, so too do challenges and issues of the workplace. While there are indeed many workplace challenges, there are some which are more specific to this era  than any other. One of the issues which is very poignant in this era is that of privacy. In terms of separating business and work lives, many people believe that employees  should be able to do whatever they please after work hours. Others feel this isnt the case, and that there is a definite relationship between work and personal lives  and one shouldnt diminish the other. As the following examples will show, there is indeed a need for employers to know something of an employees personal life because personal  lives do indeed impact a business to some degree. Therefore, although workers should have freedoms to live as they choose, it is important for many reasons for there to  be some degree of accountability to the employer.
