    to ask when sitting through the upteenth diversity meeting which only tends to rehash what has already been stated and in essence eats up most of ones productive morning hours?  In a perfect world, the training would be for the benefit of the workers, therefore increasing the production rate because happy workers are productive workers. However, in the world  of public relations, everything must have spin, or high visibility. Jumping onto the diversity bandwagon is politically correct, even if the company has no idea what the term means,  let alone knows how to institute diversity in their work places. Diversity can really be said to take on many different roles in ones business. For the manager, this diversity  can be an advantage if examined closely. Many when they think diversity, think of the term race, but diversity is really so much more than the color of ones skin  or the culture one has grown up with. Diversity, it can be said is as individual as the way in which one approaches problem solving. This, then, is where the  astute manager can create a team of very knowledgeable and effective work teams. The manager, first of all, has to examine the types of workers he has. Does one seem  to be assertive, whereas another one likes to do behind the scenes types of things? Is one very impulsive and energetic while others are methodical and precise? All of these  diverse ways of approaching life can act as a coherent whole and as a result bring about some amazing results for the department in which they are employed. A  key influence on this process is, indeed, the personality of the manger. Personal bias can influence the interpretation of the data if there is not someone else to corroborate what
