Clearly illustrated is how the key to any nonprofit organizations success in light of so many limitations is the far-reaching vision it  maintains even in the most difficult of times. An organizational diagnosis can easily determine if ones focus is not upon the intended outcome as the direct result of poor  vision. In fact, having a strong vision and mission statement is often what helps nonprofit organizations work through some of the more challenging aspects of their particular operation.  Not having something upon which to fall back that offers substantial support in trying circumstances proves considerably more threatening to the organizations overall success than anything else. With nonprofit  managers being able to actualize, even if just in ones mind, the organizations ultimate goal when faced with adversity is wholly instrumental in fortifying personnel with the necessary motivation to  carry forward, as well as refining the performance improvement process. Utilizing the nonprofit organizations vision and mission statement as the structural guideline is  essential to maintaining the its focus, as well as addressing its organizational diagnosis. When management first arrives, they must be aware of the organizations intrinsic culture and be ready  to communicate consistently; by influencing this underlying culture to the best of his ability, the manager is more readily capable of establishing needed radical shifts within the organization brought about
