    2000 Introduction This business proposal will examine a multidimensional plan of products and services for a southern California trucking business established in 1998. Executive Summary The executive board  for So-Cal Trucking is pleased to be able to present this creative business plan to you. Although there have been some worries about smaller trucking concerns throughout the United  States, So-Cal has solved that issue by preparing a four tier plan to allow for beginning solvency and long range growth. We are appealing for financing as initial start  up costs, which we feel will definitely produce funds which will be profitable to our investors. General Company Description So-Cal Trucking currently consists of five trucks (1973-1975 Ford half-ton pick-ups)  and five (20 dual axle-3.5 tonnage) trailers. Freight hauled since the companys inception in 1998 include recycled building and housing materials and household construction steel. We  have been commended by those we have served, resulting in formal contracts to maintain logistic support. Products & Services Plan The So-Cal Trucking company will not only be able to  haul freight for businesses in the Southern California area, but will also provide an educational component/products as well. That product will be job training in the form of the  federal JTPA program. Through cooperation with California Department of Corrections, the So-Cal Trucking-Ed program will be able to take advantage of a federal assistance program for ex-felons. You will  also notice by the letter of intent from the California Center for Land Recycling, that So-Call Trucking - Recycle has been awarded the contract to haul and dispose of  materials to be recycled from five major southern California sites. So-Cal Trucking has also been awarded the logistics bid from Team Steel for the next six months; we feel
