Brittny met and surpassed her first-year milestones. A bright and curious child, she eagerly developed an understanding of the world around her by combining sensory experiences
with physical activity. Clearly, the limitation of reflexive patterns keeps infants from assimilating and associating into their individual worlds to any great extent, yet by the end of the
first year and into the second, Brittny developed a complex sensorimotor pattern and adapted herself with what Piaget calls primitive symbols. Representing the
period between infancy and childhood where a significant amount of emotional growth takes place, Brittnys parents can attest to the fact that what society has termed the "terrible twos" is
a time filled with innumerable discoveries that ultimately helped to form Brittnys character. During her toddler stage, every single incident that occurred was of great importance to Brittny; this
