    A 6 page paper which examines George Lamming's "In the Castle of My Skin" and Jean Rhys' "Wide Sargasso Sea" to analyze how both authors use shifting point of view to add dimension to their novels, by concentrating on one shift from each to determine what difference, if any, each makes to developing the reader's perception of the action, and how these shifts affect the each novel's perception. Also considered is why the authors may have chosen to shift points of view, and how these shifts relate to the deeper issues in the novels. No additional sources are used.
