    more funding the company needs to build credibility so funds can be raised for the expansion plan, or stage B funding. Entrepreneurs are an important part of the economy  and it is by understanding what is needed by a business and an investor and the VIQ concept that business managers will be better placed to present their business in  a way that will attract potential investors ((Mainprize et al). To start up the company needed the idea, the management and the start up capital, this stage was traversed  by DayOne with some difficulties, however, by creating and establishing a company the business had gone through the concept stage and the start up stage. The next stage is sales.  Which the company has achieved the last twp stages are profits and then liquidity. The fact that the founder has not yet paid himself a wage and there is insufficient  liquidity it appears that DayOne are at the sales stage and trying to get the to profit stage. The stage that they reach can also indicate different potential sources  of funding. DayOne is at the second funding stage, they want to expand then the options include different areas of finance, including venture capitalist as well as angels and other  sources of finance ((Mainprize et al). The VIQ software and model helps the manager to understand the way in which the investors will look at the business and consider the  split between financial and non financial aspects of the business plan and the resources that the business has (Mainprize et al). Leleux notes that to be credible there needs  to be a balance between the financial and non financial. If we consider this from the way that the business could be seen as more credible there are several areas
