Voices goes to the idea that the perspectives of various animals can be life changing. It provides the sense that the world is one, that animals are a part of
it just as are humans. The ideas to emanate from this book are worthwhile. And while there are various issues addressed in terms of superiority, perhaps the ultimate subject is
death. After all, after one dies, he or she loses their place in the present life. There is nothing after that, or if there is, it is not the same
as being present in the mortal life. To other mortals, that soul is gone. Life and death issues have been a theme of many authors. The idea that one
can live forever or have life after death is a hope that human beings hold onto and artists, writers and poets understand desperate attempt to grasp at immortality. Certainly, the
