    1. Introduction FareShare are a non profit making organizations based in Victoria providing food for the hungry by gathering donations  and rescuing food with is prepared and then distributed through a range of charities that deal with those suffering from food insecurity in the Victoria region. The organization may  be a not for profit organization but it still has to have a commercial approach in order to ensure that it has sufficient funds to carry on with the services  and operates in an effective manner, as well as compiles with relevant food preparation standards. In order to consider the organization a situation analysis looking at the general background,  the market that it serves and the use of a SWOT analysis to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats the organization faces. 2. Situation Analysis FareShare, which used  to be known as One Unbrella is a not for profit organization which has the aim of giving away a total of 1,000,000 meals a year, in 2008 they gave  away 643,562 meals, through 110 different charities in the Victoria area. The organization has its own kitchens, and in 2008 moved to a new kitchen which was paid for entirely  though donations. The organization relies entirely on donations in order to operate, as there is no government funding aiding their operation, there are donations of many types, including the  donation of surplus food from food manufacturers. The aim of giving away meals to the hungry, or food insecure is complimented by the strategy of food rescue, saving food that  would otherwise be wasted, this includes food that is near, but not past is sell by date, or food that is edible but does not meet the required criteria for
