With the recent history of the industry has shown that the public perception of genomic companies  has been positive with high-level of growth in the share values seen in the year before. This means the current level of potential earnings for an initial share offer. The  best time to make an offer is when the company feels they will gain a higher price for the shares, this is such a time, and as such there may  be a posntion for raising more than though a public offering and also retaining a higher proportion of the company as a result of the higher process needing fewer shares  to be issued. It has also been noted that there is also an increased interest in terms of venture capital for the finding  of genomic companies. This may be a cheaper route, but with fewer more concentrated creditors it is also possible that a greater level of influence may be sought. The costs  may be lower, but the level of fund may also be lower, The benefit of a share issue is the way in which  the capital will not need to be repaid, there is not even any requirement to pay dividends. This reduces the level of commitment and also the capital structure of the  company may be favourable with shares not showing on the balance sheet as a liability, but as equality. The costs are seen in financial terms and are outlined in the  case study as $995,000 or $1,555,000 compared to $510,000 or $975,000. However there are other costs such as the power of the investor and the influence they may seek to
