the expected value, are over budget or come in late. Engle (2007), for instance, reported that 90 percent of all IT projects fail to achieve their objectives on budget and  on time. Tichy and Bascom (2008) reported 69 percent fail. The reasons for the failure of IT change projects mostly center on people issues. These issues include poor leadership  and management, team members not getting along, and lack of communication. The dynamics in the project team can be chaotic if the team has not established rules for behaviors, expectations,  and monitoring techniques. Dynamics also play a role outside of the team. The people for whom the technology is being developed, for instance, may not want it. People who are  having their technology changed may not want the change. Margulius (2005) reported that automation software vendors in Europe were having a great deal of trouble trying to convince factory-floor  supervisors to change systems. Specially, they want the supervisors to change from their existing legacy Programmable Logic Controllers to HMI and SCADA systems (Human Machine Interface and Supervisory Control and  Data Acquisition) (Margulius, 2005). Users of the system argued they were concerned about security with the new system but the real reason was that they just did not want to  change. One dynamic that is often overlooked in IT change projects is the loss of productivity during and immediately after the change process (Margulius, 2005). Knowledge workers lose momentum  when they are interrupted (Margulius, 2005). Information is power but it only holds power if it is the right information at the right time. Information technology has glutted all persons  and all organizations with information. What is important in todays organization is the ability to take all that data and bits of information, analyze them, and turn it into knowledge
