For instance, through a search, the candidate can learn: * What the salaries and benefits are for specific kinds of positions (Jennings and  Hayes, 2000), although the actual salaries a specific company pays will not always be available. Most companies with Web sites do have a section that lists the benefits they provide  their employees. * Whether a company excels in its field (Jennings and Hayes, 2000). This can be learned by searching for articles about the specific company. * A companys  products, services and internal stats (Jennings and Hayes, 2000). This information is usually available at the companys Web site. The companys annual report and SEC filings provide information regarding how  well the firm is performing. * How employees and candidates rate an employer as a place to work (Jennings and Hayes, 2000). This is more difficult to find and  requires searching again for articles on the company. There are different sites the individual can visit to learn what jobs are available in his or her field. For instance,  Mark Anderson was a senior vice-president at a bank (Raymond, 2002). Anderson was concerned that the banks merger plan would eliminate his own job so he began looking for another  position (Raymond, 2002). After having no success by making personal contact with people he knew, he turned to the Internet and more specifically, he accessed job boards (Raymond, 2002). Anderson  found one job board called 6figures.com, which emphasizes executive positions; he posted his resume there and was subsequently hired by Pitney-Bowes at a higher salary than he was making at  the bank (Raymond, 2002). It isnt that easy for everyone. The largest job board on the Internet is Monster.com, which claims to serve more than 93,000 different companies (Raymond,
