The Logan has done remarkably well for Renault and is in high demand in Eastern Europe, where the population has not been able to afford expensive cars.
The design of the Logan is specifically geared toward third-world countries which have rutted roads and potholes, and is designed to run on less-quality fuel.
The Indian market is hugely diverse; on the top level of the "pyramid" are the very wealthy who would not be interested
