    of people. It is cross cultural, non-gender specific and only requires that one possess a mind of normal functioning capacities. However, there are those on the other side of the  issue who state that the emotional issues which are a part of the human experience should not be discounted and that they do not impede judgment or effective thinking. Picture  a large conduit pipeline with tons of water flowing through it per minute. Then, imagine a boulder somehow being introduced to the flow. Of course, as long as that foreign  matter stays small enough, it can be a part of the flow and though it may not cause the flow to be as direct, the actual speed of the flow  is not stopped. However, consider that the boulder begins to grow once inside the pipeline. It grows to the point that it eventually blocks all progress through the conduit. This,  in effect, some state, is what happens when emotions are allowed to enter into the logical functioning of the human mind. Some who are most proficient in the art  of Meditation will state that mental chatter is synonymous with emotional clutter, that can build with time. After a while, this clutter can confuse, muddy the water, until the mind  is not able to rationalize and calmly deal with situations that arise. This is why most meditation practicioners state that they are able to still this chatter and deal with  the emotions that arise in a calm and detached manner. In doing so, they are able to more rationally deal with those problems and to objectively see the answers.  Many, however, tend to stereotype emotional thinking to a womens point of view and way of thinking, and that of the logical, analytical thinking to a man.
