    change. One model that can be used to analysis the current position is that of a SWOT analysis. This looks at the strengthens weaknesses opportunities and threats of the company  and can be adapted to most situations. The company has many strengths. There company has access to a wide range of well  defined markets which are accessed though a sales force of the parent company. This means that the overheads associated with running a sales force are minimised. The sales force can  rely on a good company reputation for quality and products that are innovative. The same element may also be seen as a weakness as this also means the company has  less direct control over the way that the goods are sold. The company is able to make use of a high level of  intellectual capital, with several project managers and an engineering manger that is well respected the level of internal knowledge is good. This is also understood with a clearly defined and  understood target market. With the production facilities in the same country there is also the ability to exercise a high level of control over the manufacturing process. The location of  the company with the production facilities near London airport may also be seen as a strength it gives easier access to international markets. Communications is also a strength with the  use of technology to maximise the resources ands reduce time spent travelling. The main weakness may be seen in the corporate culture  and the way that this is impacting on motivation. Where there is poor motivation the productivity levels will be low, even where the employees like the organisation. Within this company
