    begins with an opening statement that is notable and designed toward getting the reader interested in the positions presented. As in the paper on the motivational interview theory, one would  want to perhaps have an introduction that looks something like the following. Motivational interviewing has become the buzz word in many of  the health related fields. Why? Is it because it has far reaching goals and a probability factor that indicate success? Or is it simply a fad like any other theory  that fades into and out of the limelight? And, given this, then, how might the motivational theory be applied to the nutrition field.  Having thus stated the main crux of the paper, the student will then need to go on to begin to lay out the main body of the paper.  Since seven major philosophers have to be used, that would seem the best place to start. The transitional paragraph, then, might look something like the following:  Motivational interviewing, in a nutshell, is method that is patient centered, and seeks to bring about a change in behavior by assisting patients to realize their  behavior and to resolve their ambivalence or hesitancy toward it(**). It tends to be very cut and dried in that it is more focused and goal-directed rather than the  other non-directive types of therapy. Therefore, the student could state that because it is client-centered the success rate would be high with this type of therapy, and would have far  reaching and longer lasting results. For example, a client is being counseled for diabetes. However, this particular client continues to argue that
