Ni Dhomhnaills poetry is the expression of Irelands very soul, encompassing myriad emotions, feelings, and desires that reflect  the authors love of homeland. Often represented in her poetry are rage, love, happiness, sorrow and despair as a means by which to illustrate the passion she upholds in  honoring her countrys language, utilizing poetry as the avenue of release for the inner struggles that can be set free through no other means than verse.
