    years, the views that have been held by many personality psychologists have converged in respect to the structure and concepts of personality (Barrick & Mount, 1991). In general, researchers agree  that there are five important factors of personality and these can serve as a meaningful taxonomy for classifying personality attributes (Digman, 1990 as cited in Barrick & Mount, 1991).  While this paradigm is not complete in that it cannot provide one with a model that evaluates every aspect of personality, it can give one a rubric that is quite  powerful in evaluating personality. The Big Five personality dimensions are openness to culture or experience, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. An openness to  culture or experience refers to the idea that one is ready and able to experience new things and is open to unique experiences. They are not embedded with prejudice or  preconceived notions. Such a person with a high degree of openness will be a good listener and want to understand the others point of view. Traits generally associated with  this dimension include being imaginative, cultured, curious, broad-minded, intelligent, original, and artistically sensitive (Barrick & Mount, 1991). Someone with only a scant amount of this trait might be  open to some things but merely not express the desire to learn about new things. They also may tend to be somewhat stubborn and opinionated, and at an extreme are  not open to change. An example of someone who is open is Madonna because she is open to new experiences, is intelligent and not afraid to admit when she is  wrong. An example of someone who has a small degree of this trait is Tipper Gore. Other politicians are similarly embedded with just a small degree of this trait as
