The firm offers a wide  array of business applications and an online service that is accessible through Web browsers (2003). Still, the company is most admired for its database products, and in that area,  the firm continues to expand into related business applications (2003). It has released products like Ebusiness and Collaboration Suites (2003). The push has helped Oracle to  find new avenues for profit, which include offsetting maturing database and CRM markets (2003). It has exposed the firm to intense competition from other companies like Business Objects , BEA  Systems and IBM (2003). Oracle has also moved into global markets and the company at least hopes to gain market share in China through an extension of its product  offerings and the opening of a software development center in that country (2003).
