Vision and Value Statement Pfizer Pharmaceutical has a very compressive mission statement that is very inclusive, and although it is  clearly apparent from their business model statements and culture that there is a vision and some strong underlying values the company is not issued separate vision of value statements. Mission  statement in which the company dedicates itself to "humanitys quest for longer, healthier and happier lives innovation in pharmaceutical, company and animal health products" demonstrates the purpose, and a vision,  which is a quest for longer and happier lives, and the values which include innovation. Values are also reflected in the corporate governance documents which emphasize the need to partnership  in joint responsibility, of the company towards its employees and other stakeholders, and of the employees towards the company. 7. Grand Strategy The mission statement is a good store in  point to determine the grand strategy of Pfizer Pharmaceutical. The company is a commercial organization and a principle of the company of creating value for shareholders through a range of  different business approaches which undertake to satisfy market needs in a manner which is viable in the creation, and increase of revenues and profits. The grand strategy  is one of innovation and marketing. The company seeks to continually develop new products managing them in such a way that despite the numerous failures which are common in pharmaceutical  market that should always be some new products coming to market, making up to those which are moving out of their paid periods. It is only with the continual innovation  in the company sees its long-term potential being realized. Strategy of innovation and product research and development is not new, this is a foundation on which Pfizer pharmaceutical has been
