    expectations of a global industrial community, or they must shut their doors. In the world of big business, it can be said that there is no gray area. Either a  company finds a way to make a profit and to sustain those profit margins over a period of years, or they are absorbed into the economy by other companies. This  is the case, it can be stated, of Aussieco. Aussieco is a large manufacturing company which is completely Australian owned and operated. Established in 1964, its owner has relinquished much  of the day to day operations to his nephew. Several attempts have been made to venture into brand stretching territories, but has been met with very little success. Their product  can be assumed to be a high end technology based product and is produced in a single location plant located in an industrial suburb near Melbourne. Despite having a good  product, owning all their own property and having considerable physical collateral, Aussiecco is in trouble. One of the obvious problems that can be seen is that Aussieccos owner has no  idea what is going on at his plant. And from all indications, doesnt care what is going on. He annually removes one million dollars from the company, leaving virtually very  little money for upgrades. The payroll is just barely meeting the salaries of the workers, and as a result many short cuts have been taken in order to save money.  Another problem is that the employees have no respect for their supervisors or the management. Employee morale is said to be at an all time low. Most, of them  were hired with little regard to their qualifications. Even the managers of the technical aspects of the company are untrained and simply do what they must to get by. As
