The central focus of the Apollo Group, then, has been work with adults in the educational setting. Apollo Group has  been instrumental in implementing their technology-based strategy through its subsidiaries, the University of Phoenixs UP Online; the UP Professional Development center, and the College for Financial Planning Institutes Corporation (Company  History, 2001). The company has been successful in creating a name for itself as one of the largest providers of "higher education programs for working adults by focusing on  servicing the needs of working adults" (Company History, 2001). SWOT Analysis Strengths The Apollo Group has demonstrated consistent growth in the student enrollment in their programs, and  their strong financial record demonstrates a doubling in their enrollments and their gross revenues between 1995 and 1999 (Company History, 2001).
