concept in the medical field and in many other fields where nature plays an integral part of the activity or the object. For the most part it has primarily been  used in the field of design as it involves architecture and forms of art. However, recent developments indicate that it may well be a powerful force which an be incorporated  into the visual image media, a form of media that can involve films but also involve education. In the following paper we define aspects of the role of nature in  design as seen through sustainable communities, then discuss the visual image media that involves film and lastly discuss the visual image media that is the primary teacher of many individuals  today, indicating that through the use of film and education nature in design can be implemented to ensure greater growth on the part of a society.
