argue that the United States was not affected by Western dominance, considering that the approach to this topic focuses on Europe as the domineering force, but it was for it
has always had an incredibly close relationship with the Western world. Many argue that Western domination came about because of the weak conditions of other countries and their societies. Others
argue that it was the ever growing strength of the Western world that led to their domination. In the following paper we examine some of the historical conditions and arrive
at the conclusion that it is the growing strength of the Western world that did not allow for other societies to thrive to the point where they could be strong
enough to fight the domination. Domination by the West From the 16th century one could perhaps argue that religion was one of the most powerful forces at the
time. It was also a time when the true Industrial Revolution was to find its roots. It was, therefor, a time of great change and great discovery. And, perhaps more
than any other nation in the world the Western world was coming into an age of discovery that would set the stage for all the decades and centuries to come.
It was a time when the region exited Medieval times and truly came into its own. No other nation was going through as many changes or making so many
discoveries, discoveries that would continue to influence the rest of the world, making the nation stand as a powerful icon towards modern life of some sort. In one respect, that
