    Enterprises Inc By , January 2013 To Use This Report Correctly, Please   In order to write a clear  and concise account of the ways in which a casualty should be evaluated, the student could look not only at the steps which a first-aider or paramedic would take to  evaluate the level of injury quickly and efficiently, but also some of the other factors which may need to be taken into account.  For example, when evaluating a casualty in  a field situation the equipment required, such as splints, may need to be improvised. There may also be other considerations to be taken into account, such as the environment in  which the casualty is found, which could have a significant effect on the kind of action which should be taken. The presence of extreme heat, or chemicals in the environment,  for instance, would indicate that the normal practices regarding moving casualties or removing clothing might have to be amended.  The student could point out that there is a sequence of events  which should be followed in order to ensure that casualties are correctly prioritised, and when it has been established which are the more urgent cases, there is a further sequence
