The Glenwood Resource Center, which deals primarily with the mentally retarded and mentally disabled, has a problem with a lack of nursing communication.  The proposed project is designed to address this problem through the implementation of the shared governance (SG) model of institutional management. SG is a philosophy that facilitates change from a  traditional or classical management structure within a healthcare facility to one that authorizes more staff involvement.
