Ocean tides Inn is depicted as an inn that has few problems, but does want to improve. Management is not satisfied with its rate of attracting repeat customers. While management  has already improved the facility and provides more amenities than ever before, there are more things that can be done. In this example, management turns its attention to customer service,  which is usually a good move for any establishment. In the case study, it seems as if the Ocean Tides Inn is an excellent resort that has been attempting  to improve its image and also to make sure that quality service is what is being provided. Management does this, at least in part, by trying to appease employees.  Because the facility has seemingly been bending over backward to make a show of rewarding employees, it is possible that problems exist. The quality of the resort is not discussed  in depth, but it is noted that the inn does receive a good turnout during peak times. Yet, Ocean Tides is not 100% full and perhaps for the best resorts  it is more difficult to secure reservations. Therefore, there does seem to be room for improvement. To its credit, the resort has added amenities. This is normal for a business  in this area, but it is also the case that the need to spruce up the place perhaps suggests a less than stellar response. Still, the addition of the spa  and happy hour has likely kept customers satisfied. The inn could do more to assure hiring and retaining the best employees, but at least its attention is now on human  resources. Certainly, attention should be paid to training, but instead of superficial programs, management should provide high salaries for the employees. This will assure that the resort gets the best
